Kushman joins Thrive Alliance

Thrive Alliance recently appointed Brian Kushman to the position of Housing Project/Maintenance Manager. In this role, Kushman will oversee construction of new housing projects, maintenance of current properties, and supervising paid staff and volunteers. He is also responsible for developing positive working relationships with state and local code enforcement personnel, state and local contractors, trade associations, and volunteers.

A graduate of Columbus North High School, Kushman served in the U.S. Army, then returned to Columbus and served for 21 years as an officer with the Columbus Police Department. Kushman also ran his own small construction business and has more than 20 years of experience doing a wide range of home construction projects.

Kushman volunteers his time and talent to a number of local organizations, including ASAP/HUB and Bartholomew County Veterans Court. He learned about Thrive Alliance through his volunteer work.
