As a member of the Board of Public Works and Safety, I have had the opportunity to work with Mary over the past seven years and have found her to be very competent. She has had the benefit of working beside Mayor Jim Lienhoop as a valued member of his team. She has a good understanding of the financial side of our local government, knowing where the money comes from and how it is spent. She works with a very good team of department heads on a daily basis and understands the day-to-day operation of the city. As mentioned in some previous letters, she had and has a major role in our NexusPark development.
She is a person that gets things done. She has the experience and education to go along with her work ethic and deserves your support to be the next mayor of Columbus, the Indiana city of the year.
