KNOXVILLE, TN
Christopher Todd Bottorff, aged 38, passed away on December 25, 2022. Chris was born on March 8th, 1984, in Richmond, Indiana, on his mother’s birthday. Chris loved the outdoors, especially when riding his mountain bike, going camping, or taking long hikes through the woods. He was an avid reader, photographer, and drummer. Chris was kind, generous, easygoing; and a great husband, son, brother, uncle, co-worker, and friend. The world is a darker place without him, as he was the bright spot in many people’s lives. Chris attended Indiana University, where he met his wife Liza Huffman, and graduated with a degree in anthropology in 2007. In addition to his wife, Chris is survived by his parents, Michele Bottorff, Greg Bottorff, and Dennis Myers; his siblings, Jon Bottorff and Erin Kirchhofer; and six nephews and nieces. There will be a celebration of life in Knoxville, Tennessee, at Ijams Nature Center on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 5 to 7pm; and one in Columbus, Indiana, at the Donner Center on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 1 to 4pm.
