Columbus Department of Public Works is advising residents that beginning March 20 and continuing through Dec. 15, all yard waste must be placed in a yard waste toter.
Those wishing to participate in the city’s “yard waste” program at the Department of Public Works should visit columbus.in.gov/public works for more information or call 812-376-2509 to sign up for service.
Toters and small piles of sticks must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on a resident’s trash day for collection. An armful of sticks or twigs can be put in a trash toter.
