David Cutsinger passed from this life on February 17, 2023, at Suncoast Hospice Center in St. Petersburg, FL with his life partner Angie Smith, by his side through his extended illness. He was born on April 18, 1955, in Evansville, Indiana to Larry and Marva (Martin) Cutsinger. During his life he resided in Indianapolis, IN Chico, CA Paradise CA Olsmar, FL Elizabethtown, IN Columbus, IN and St. Petersburg, FL.

Survivors include his life partner Angie Smith, Children William Cutsinger of Columbus, IN and Sam Cutsinger (Elias-husband) of Auburn, WA, Mother Marva Cutsinger, Siblings Cindy Jackson, Sonny (Larry) Cutsinger and Charles (Susan) Cutsinger, Nieces Cory Cutsinger and Melanie Cutsinger, Nephews Brian Kersey and Eric Shockey. His Father Larry Cutsinger, Sister Candice May and Nieces Eliza Dean and Michelle Holland preceded him in death.

David loved baseball, softball, camping, fishing and boating. He was an umpire for many years encompassing little league, USSSA Travel Fast Pitch Softball, High School Baseball, Softball and Volleyball. He was based in Bartholomew County Indiana, but traveled the State of Indiana to umpire USSSA Travel Fast Pitch Tournaments. He was a member of the Indiana High School Association and licensed to Officiate High School games. He was dedicated to his children; as he became a stay at home parent after their birth. His children were one of his greatest accomplishments in his life!! David’s personality led him to never meet a stranger! He was always willing help a person in need, and it was one of his greatest assets! He worked for the Bartholomew County Parks and Recreation Department where he retired from in 2021.

Memorial Services planned for Family and Friends on April 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Union Chapel United Methodist Church 2720 East 86th Street Indianapolis, IN 46240.
