Horizon Bank donates to tornado relief

Horizon Bank donated $5,000 to help aid in relief efforts caused by recent tornadoes that caused widespread damage to the residents and business owners within the Whiteland and Greater Johnson County communities. The money was donated to United Way of Johnson County.

The donation will help support immediate needs of residents who are suffering losses from the storms. The United Way is partnering with many local officials, agencies and churches to help families in need.

“We knew it was imperative to donate to United Way of Johnson County Tornado Relief Fund to assist them to provide much-needed help to the impacted areas,” said Dan Hampton, regional president of central Indiana. “We encourage others to consider donating as well to help assist with ongoing recovery efforts.”
