Chester Dean Walls, II, age 53, of Brown County, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in his residence. Born August 10, 1969 in Columbus, Indiana, he was the son of Chester Dean and Debbie Jo (Williams) Walls. Chester received an Associate degree in nursing and worked as a LPN in nursing homes. He later on began work as an electrician. Chester was a jack-of-all-trades, a “go to” guy when family members and friends needed anything repaired. He excelled in the skills of home repairs, carpentry and electrical work and was a general all around great handyman. He was gifted artistically when it came to stone carving, drawing, painting and playing his guitar, keyboards and trumpet. He attended The Pentecostals of Nashville church.

Chester is survived by his father and step-mother, Chester Dean and Rhonda (Bendler) Walls, of Brown County; five children, Kyle Tolbert and Paige McIntyre, both of Indianapolis and Mackenzie Shaye (Kyle) Waltz (Walls) Grimm, Mason Landon Waltz (Walls) and Maveric Chase Waltz (Walls), all of Columbus, Indiana; two sisters, Kimberly (Troy) Bergeron and Holly Spring (Nate) Bell, both of Columbus; one brother, Trad (Rachel) Walls, of Ellettsville, one grandmother, Joyce Fisher, of Seymour and three grandchildren, Landyn Cox, Schali Cox and Austin McIntyre.

Chester was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Jo (Williams) Lee, three grandfathers, William Chester Walls, Gene Fisher and Dave Leonard and two grandmothers, Eunice Leonard and Garnett Marie Walls.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville with Pastor Raymond Dupree officiating. Burial will follow in Christiansburg Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Pentecostals of Nashville church, the Christiansburg Church or to the Brown County Humane Society.
