BROWN COUNTY — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving, Inc. announces lane restrictions on State Road 135 in Brown County between State Road 46 and Story.
Beginning on or after Monday, May 1 crews will close one lane of State Road 135 over Strahl Creek, located approximately seven miles south of State Road 46 to complete a bridge rehabilitation project. During construction, there will be temporary signals which will alternate traffic through the work zone, one lane at a time. Restrictions are expected to last through the end of October, weather permitting.
The contract was awarded to E&B Paving, Inc. for $1.6 million in December. INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and consider worker safety in the work zone.
