HOPE
Bruce Lee Burton, 56, of Hope, passed from this life at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2023, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Bruce was born September 10, 1966, in Columbus, the son of Donald J. and Dorothy Jean Harris Burton.
He was a member of Hope Methodist Church, Bartholomew County 4-H and Junior Red Poll Cattle Association.
He was Green Bay Packers fan; and enjoyed all Hauser High School sporting events, showing cattle, watching sports on TV and reading about tractors and cows.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Jean Burton of Hope; sister, Lynda Ziegler of Hope and his niece, Tyocia Ziegler.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hope Methodist Church with Pastor Edward Cottrell Jr. officiating.
A time of visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Hope Methodist Church and 9:30 a.m. to time of service at the church.
He will be laid to rest at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
