Several winners in Brownstown Speedway racing action

Bryan Brewer of Vallonia celebrated his recent graduation from Brownstown Central High School by winning the MMSA mini-sprint feature on June 3 at Brownstown Speedway.

The Haymaker Customs Hornet division was in the spotlight for the June 3 hornet special event at Brownstown Speedway. The event paid $1000 to the Haymaker Customs hornet feature winner.

Ryan Eversole jumped to the early lead, with Brian Pollitt stalking. Near the halfway mark of the caution-free 25-lap Hornet feature, Pollitt took over the lead. Eversole remained close and made his move in the final corner of the last lap in heavy traffic. Eversole and Pollitt took the checkers in a dead heat, with Burlington, Kentucky, driver Ryan Eversole scoring the Haymaker CustomsHornet Special win.

Following Eversole and Pollitt were Shannon Walp, Jeremy Shemwell and Tyler Blythe. Rounding out the top 10 were Curtis Roccia, Jeremy Ogle, Shane Reed, Matt Miller and Scott Smith.

Jordan Wever of Bloomington was the first repeat winner of 2023 in Graphix ILMS Pro Late Models. Wever led all 25 caution-free laps to record his second ILMS win over Tyler Neal, Alan Magner, Chad Stapleton and Steve Peeden.

Tucker Chastain of Bedford made it two in-a-row in Pewter Hall Super Stock feature wins. Matt Boknecht, Tanner Chastain, Blake Hull and Zach Sasser followed Tucker Chastain at the checkers. Josh Turner of Edinburgh picked up his third win of 2023 in All in One Pools Pure Stock feature action. Turner took the victory ahead of Dalton Roark, Mickey Hines, Hunter Perry and Brent McMillan.

Still celebrating his recent graduation from Brownstown Central High School, Vallonia driver Bryan Brewer celebrated in Victory Lane following the MMSA Winged Mini Sprint feature. Leading every lap of the feature, Brewer took the checkers ahead of Cody Knieriem, Mike Larrison, Brandon Justus and Eric Webber.

Kinser wins at Paragon

Jordan Kinser of Bedford won the Sheppard Memorial Race on May 27 at Paragon Speedway. Jake Swanson was second, followed by Cody Trammell, Jake Scott, and Charles Davis. Lee Hobbs of Mitchell won the super stock feature over Justin Litton, Douglas McCullough, Cale Kern and Steve Hollars.

Ryan Eversole won the hornet feature over Owen Gosman, Alex Wilson, Jeremy Wilson and Conner Garrison. Josh Litton won the bomber feature over Jason Trader, Ethan Litton, Katie Grigsby and Juan Asbury.

From 60 years ago in 1963 at Bloomingto,n Cecil Beavers won the super modified feature over Dick Gaines, Wayne Wolfe, Mike Johnson and Jim Luebbert.

Also from 1963 at Mitchell Speedrome, Calvin Gilstrap won the super modified feature over Roy Robbins, Bob Kinser, Jim Waltz and Cecil Beavers. Cliff Cozart won the jalopy feature over Bob Brown, Ollie Burchard and Mack Pace.

From 60 years ago at Paragon, the super modified feature winner was Bob Kinser.
