Legal aid to have walk-in clinic

Legal Aid will have a free walk-in clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. June 27 at the Bartholomew County Public Library in downtown Columbus, 536 Fifth St.

The clinic is for low-income residents and uses local volunteer attorneys who offer free legal consultations to low-income individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford an attorney.

Individuals can expect to receive a 10-minute consultation to answer general and eviction questions and to receive information in-person on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.

The general advice clinic is from 3 to 4 p.m. and the eviction clinic is from 4 to 5 p.m.

Visit legalaidpbi.org/services for more information and additional clinics for free legal help.
