DETROIT — Tyler Duncan fired a 2-under-par 70 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 55th in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
The Columbus North graduate shot even-par 36 on the front nine and 2-under 34 on the back at Detroit Golf Club. He had two bogeys and four birdies, with two of the birdies coming on the final two holes.
Peter Kuest and Taylor Moore share the lead at 8-under 64. Seven others are tied for third, one shot back at 7-under 65.
