Seventy-five years after Jane Ott Hoffman was queen of the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair, she got to be queen for a day once again.
This year’s fair queen, Lilly Smith, is a family friend of Hoffman, and visited recently at the fair to share the tiara.
“Jane has been a family friend of Lilly’s for many, many years and attends the same church, St. John’s Lutheran White Creek,” said Lilly’s mother, Linda Smith.
Jane Ott was chosen the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Queen in 1948.
