Southwestern Jennings County in southeastern Indiana…

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 206 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Seymour,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Hayden, Country Squire Lakes, North Vernon and Vernon.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 49 and 61.

Bartholomew County remains under a Marginal Risk of severe weather for today, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management.

  • Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms to develop today across much of the area, with the most coverage of rain expected across southeastern sections of central Indiana.
  • The showers and storms will diminish and end in the early evening.
  • More widespread showers and storms are possible Friday night into Saturday, and isolated strong to severe storms are possible on Saturday.
