Eastern Bartholomew Water Co. has issued a boil-water advisory for Waynesville. This includes County Road 650S to County Road 550S.
Any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least 3 to 5 minutes and cooled before consuming, the Taylorsville-based utility said.
The boil-water advisory will be lifted at noon on July 25.
