Update on Hartsville Boil Water Advisory
The following streets only will be under the water boil advisory in Hartsville: West North Street and North West Street.
The boil advisory will be from today until noon Thursday.
ORIGINAL STORY
HARTSVILLE — Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. has been notified that a water main was hit in the Hartsville area resulting in an outage. The utility is working to restore water service as soon as possible, officials said.
Once water service is restored, a water boil advisory will be issued for 48 hours.
Any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least 5 minutes and cooled before consuming.
