SHELBYVILLE — Columbus East withstood a challenge from Shelbyville in each of the first two sets Monday, then cruised in the third for a 25-21, 25-21, 25-14 volleyball victory.
Krea Martin led the Olympians (4-5) with 24 assists and seven aces. Lilah Kley pounded seven kills, Caroline Frost had one solo and one assist block and Chloe Gilley notched 28 digs.
Also for East, Jenna Guse recorded six kills, 19 digs and two aces and Frost added six kills and two aces. Klei had three block assists, Anika Jenkins contributed two block assists, Lauren Smith notched eight digs and Addison Emery served two aces.
