Bartholomew County

Columbus Star Quilt Guild — 9:30 a.m. to noon, First Baptist Church Columbus, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. Each gathering consists of a short business meeting, followed by a quilting lesson/program, along with Show and Tell of finished projects.

Library Babies — 10 to 10:25 and 10:30 to 11 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

Family Storytime — 1 to 1:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 1 to 5 years and their families are invited to join us. This program features fun stories, songs, rhymes, and movement while building early literacy skills.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by and join us for some laid-back fun as we play our way through our collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Teen Thursgame — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Every Thursday after school, play games including Dungeon Party, Unstable Unicorns, Wizard Kittens, Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, Here to Slay, and more.

Teen One-Shot RPG — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Try out the new Marvel TTRPG system. Create your own superhero, or play an existing one in an adventure set within the Marvel Multiverse. All materials provided.

Sing & Play with Allie Jean — 4 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Little ones ages 2 to 8 are invited to Sing & Play with Allie Jean. Registration is requested for each child who will be attending.

County Park Board — 4:30 p.m., Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., Columbus.

Author Talk — 7 to 8 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us for a fun and heartfelt conversation with author Linda Bastianich about her memoir “My American Dream: A Life of Love, Family, and Food.” As a special bonus (and pre-release) Lidia will preview and chat about her newest cookbook Lidia’s “From Our Family Table to Yours: More Than 100 Recipes Made With Love For All Occasions: A Cookbook.”
