JEFFERSONVILLE — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles match Thursday, but Jeffersonville took the other four in handing the Panthers a 4-1 boys tennis defeat.
Parker Bales beat Eli Cochrum 2-6, 6-3, (10-6) at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (2-6).
Jennings’ Isaac Lightner fell to Matthew Lowe 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and Rider Ruddick lost to Teddy Burnette 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Ryan Schuck and Ty Zohrlaut fell to Javier Gomez and Ryan Crawford 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Cole Skinner and Brady Sentz lost to Elijah Glasscock and Ben Eiten 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
