SHELBYVILLE — South Decatur overcame a third-set setback to finish off a 25-21, 25-13, 15-25, 25-17 Mid-Hoosier Conference win Wednesday at Southwestern (Shelby).
Zsophia Sharp led the Cougars (10-3, 2-1) with 16 kills, 22 digs and six aces. Makayla Somers recorded 26 assists, and Taylor Somers had six blocks.
Also for South Decatur, Paige McQueen tallied 11 kills, three blocks and 18 digs. Somers pounded seven kills, Makayla Somers had four blocks, Sharp added three blocks, Lydia Witkemper and Molly Eden each notched 13 digs and Eden and Taylor Somers each served two aces.
