NASHVILLE — Brown County won both doubles matches, but Trinity Lutheran swept the singles matches Monday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis victory on the Eagles’ senior night.
The Cougars’ Soloman Hall beat Owen East 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Jonathan Naewedde topped Jax Burt 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Nathan Finke defeated Brandon Saechao 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
Brown County’s Jack Sichting and Jon Kirchhofer blanked Drew Kerkhof and Luke Shepman 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. The Eagles’ Sawyer Gore and Cord Smith beat Evan Abbott and Brody Brown 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
