HOPE — The Indiana Rural Letter Carriers Museum in Hope will have an open house Oct. 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. The museum is housed within the Yellow Trail Museum and the Hope Visitors Center.
The museum was opened in October 2022 with Phase 1: The History, and Phase 2: the People will open in April 2024. As part of the exhibit, the museum is currently looking to display stories and photos of both past and present Rural Carriers from Indiana.
The museum will need the Rural Carrier’s name, location and years of service, along with a photo and contact information. Stories can be mailed to The Yellow Trail Museum (attn. Kim Ray) PO Box 181, Hope, IN 47246, or emailed to HopeYellowTrailMuseum@gmail.com.
