COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Anna Louise Loughmiller, 84, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Our Hospice of South-Central Indian Inpatient Facility. She was born September 3, 1939, in New Albany, the daughter of Jerry and Martha Barth. She married Gale Lee Loughmiller on September 7, 1956, and he survives. Anna was a long-time, faithful member of the 25th Street Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13 at 3:00 p.m. in Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Brace Rutledge officiating. The visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest with private services in the Kraft-Graceland Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana. Memorial donations in memory of Anna may be made to Sacred Selections Adoptions 4144 Shares Road Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37128 or through the funeral home.
Anna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gale; sons, Bryan Keith (Cindy Ann) Loughmiller and Daniel Scott (Beth Ann) Loughmiller; sister, Doris Jean Jones; grandchildren, Lindsey Elizabeth (Glen) Scott, Adam Blake Loughmiller, Michael Andrew Loughmiller, Lauren Nicole (David) Coffey and Ryan Christopher (Samantha) Cheatham; great-grandchildren, Abigail Alahnna Loughmiller, Johnny Blake Loughmiller, Shawnna Marie Gillenwater, Blake Avery Scott, William David Coffey, Emma Grace Coffey, Benjamin Theodore Cheatham and Oliver Winston Cheatham. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tom Scanlon and a sister, June Arnold.
