Letter: Tom Dell is well-suited for city council reelection

From: Ann Jones

Columbus

Why another term for Columbus City Council member Tom Dell? The reasons are many and varied. I have nothing but positive things to say about my acquaintance with the city leader. In his liaison work with other agencies and partnership with organizations, Tom demonstrates excellent listening skills, engagement, management, and follow-through. He is not fearful of change and is open to new leadership models and emerging improved cityscapes. Tom does not live in a we-they world. He sees citizens as responsible for one another. He has concern and energy around housing justice and will work with empathy to improve the homeless situation in Columbus. As a long-term business owner, Tom reflects sound character, a sense of ambition, and commitment to his partnership with the community. Tom’s cultivated skills have shown him to excel as a city council member. We have a part to play in Tom’s reelection as his office really “suits” him!

I am very grateful for folks like Tom Dell who welcome diversity and focus on problems with the intent of lifting others up. He has demonstrated diligence in promoting Columbus while working resourcefully and cooperatively with others. We celebrate our Class 2 City and Tom’s galvanizing call to new possibilities that come with the new status. Be a voter! Reelect Tom Dell for Columbus City Council.
