Bartholomew County

Toddler Time — 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. and 10 to 10:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a toddler-friendly introduction to storytime. Toddler time features books and activities geared towards children ages 18 months to 3 years old.

Homeschool Hangout — 11 a.m. to noon, Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Come hang out at the library, make some friends and learn something new. This month, join us for all things shivery and spooky.

Preschool Storytime — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 3-5 are invited to join us at the library for Preschool Storytime. These storytimes build the early literacy skills that promote school readiness through fun stories, songs, rhymes, and movement.

Chair Yoga — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. A one-hour session with a certified yoga and chair yoga instructor. These sessions are great for beginners and those who want to focus on gentle practice.

Beginning Again — 2 to 3:30 p.m., or 5:30 to 7 p.m., Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 17th St., Columbus. Beginning Again Group is for anyone who has lost a family member. District 1 City Council Candidates Q&A — 6 to 7:15 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 512 Seventh St., Columbus. The Historic Downtown Neighborhood Alliance will host a question and answer session with Chris Bartels and Nick Slabaugh, the Columbus City Council candidates for District 1. There will be refreshments and time to meet the candidates following the meeting. Participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable or canned food for a donation to Love Chapel.

Family Movie Night — 6 to 8 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Bring the whole family to watch Haunted Mansion (2023, PG-13). A single mom named Gabbie hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest and a historian to help exorcise her newly bought mansion after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts. LEGOs out, Lights Up.

True Crime Trivia Night — 6 to 8 p.m., Swine and Dine, 412 Washington St., Columbus. Test your trivia skills at our true crime trivia night. Register at the library and then join us at the Swine and Dine. Enjoy a night of questions, prizes, and fun. 21 and over event, drinks and appetizers available for purchase.
