Kylie Victoria Maher, 38, of London Mills, IL, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 16, 2023, at 7:13 a.m.
Kylie was born on October 11, 1985, in Columbus, IN, the daughter of Carol Mauer and Tim Mauer.
After graduating from South Decatur High School, Kylie received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Psychology from Hanover College where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority.
On September 3, 2011, she married Zach Maher.
Kylie attended St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was most recently employed as the Director of Human Resources at Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth, IL.
Kylie was a one-of-a-kind human: passionate, caring, loving and funny, an angel on Earth, never complaining, always serving others, accepting, and loving. She loved her three boys abundantly; she loved life fiercely. She was sunshine in our day. She was what the world needs more of. Her greatest passion was her family, and her boys were her pride and joy. Kylie and Zach lived in the country where they enjoyed showing cattle and participating in the boys’ sporting events. She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a coach, and a football mom.
Kylie is survived by her parents; her loving husband, Zach; her sons, James Robert and Bryer; her sisters, Christy Mauer of Columbus, IN and Elizabeth (John) Bennett of Westport, IN; her brother, Marvin Mauer of Greensburg, IN; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Veronica and Boad Maher of Princeville, IL; her sisters-in-law, Vanessa (Josh) Dickhouse of Edwards, IL and Ashlie (Rick) Broadhurst of New Lenox, IL; her nieces, Myla Broadhurst and Mallory Bennett; and nephews, Tristan Arthur, Brooks Arthur, Ryker Broadhurst, Justin Bennett, and Jason Bennett. Kylie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Derrell and Ruth Ann Richardson and Leonard and Margaret Mauer, and her beloved niece, Rylie Anne Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Saint Augustine, IL. Her funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Eugene Radosevich officiating. Burial will be at St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery in Wyoming. Haskell Funeral &Cremation Services in Wyoming is assisting the family with arrangements.
