Columbus Symphony Concert — 3:30 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. The Columbus Symphony Orchestra begins its 101st season with “ Echoes of the World / A Musical Expedition of Self-Understanding” and will include Arturo Marquez’ Danzon #2, Reena Esmail’s Avartan, Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, and Lucho Bermudez’ Columbia Tierra Querida.
