Pack a Patrol Car effort underway

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office will once again “Pack a Patrol Car” to benefit Love Chapel and the Salvation Army. Deputies and Sheriff’s Office staff will be collecting non-perishable food items at the following locations:

November 17th – Jay-C on Jonathan Moore Pike from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

November 18th – Walmart on Merchant Mile from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

November 19th – Walmart on Whitfield Drive from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Donation boxes are available at the Bartholomew County Courthouse, as well as the Bartholomew County Government Office Building. Donations may also be made in person at the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office.

“The Sheriff’s Office is committed to doing its part to address food insecurity within our community this holiday season. I appreciate the efforts of my staff in organizing this event, and thank all who are willing to donate. By blessing others, we bless ourselves” said Sheriff Chris Lane.
