Angela “Angie” Beth Walters, age 58, of Rankin, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on October 30, 1965, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Ronald and Lillian (Nordman) Gilbert. Angie married Tim Walters on September 19, 1996. She is survived by her husband, Tim Walters; two children, Andrew (Aly) Patton, and Amy (Blake) Widmer; one brother, Mark (Lisa) Gilbert; and five grandchildren, Adalyn Widmer, Caleb Patton, Camron Patton, Kaleigh Patton, and Brooklynn Patton. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lucille Woodruff (George); and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Angie loved horses and rode them often when she was younger. She also enjoyed photography and watching crime shows. She was a great cook; her favorite dish to cook being Chicken and Dumplings. Most importantly, Angie was a loving Mimi, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at Cox-Knapp Funeral Home in Paxton (142 W. Patton St.).
