COLUMBUS
Marjorie Karen Peach, 94, of Columbus, died at 10:30 P.M. on November 26, 2023 at Willow Crossing.
She was born April 26, 1929, in Washington, Indiana, the daughter of Frank and Susie (Drew) Buckley. She married Eugene Peach on May 27, 1950.
Marjorie graduated in 1948 from the Central Beauty College in Indianapolis. After a career as a beautician for many years, she ran a successful drop-off daycare out of her home. In Marjorie’s free time, she enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and was a very creative person. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be at 1:00 P.M. December 1, 2023, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Hillam officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. December 1, 2023, at the funeral home Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy Peach of Indianapolis and Carola (Danny) Clark of Columbus; son, Dave (Annette) Peach of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Lauren Haza (Sam) De La Cruz and Matthew Peach; great-grandchildren, Eli, Maeve, and Naoma De La Cruz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Susie Buckley; husband, Eugene Peach; brothers, Donald Buckley and Raymond Buckley; sister, Mary Belle Smith.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
