Olympians top Trinity, improve to 2-0

SEYMOUR — Columbus East jumped out to a 33-12 halftime lead Friday and went on to post a 52-43 boys basketball win at Trinity Lutheran.

Jack Fischvogt and Keaton Lawson each scored 12 points to lead the Olympians (2-0). Danny Coriden scored 10, and Carter Patterson added nine points and three assists. Lawson also grabbed seven rebounds.

Peyton Pollert led the Cougars (0-2) with 12 points. Reed Mellencamp scored 11, Levi Pottschmidt had eight and Hudson Lang added seven.
