Columbus city officials considered installing security cameras at several locations around the city to catch and deter criminals.

Local teen Jacob McKay found $600 in a shopping cart on his shift at Marsh and turned the money in. The money was then returned to its rightful owner, local business owner Tony Narsinghani.

A elementary school, Fodrea, was dedicated to Hazel and Bessie Fodrea and Mabel Fodrea Jordan, three sisters who taught in the city and county school systems.
