John Henry Behrman went home to Jesus on December 15, 2023, at the age of 83.
John was born to Wilbur and Reba Behrman on October 10, 1940 in Columbus, Indiana. From an early age, John had a love for the land and farming. After graduating from Purdue University, he met Sharon and they were married in 1967. He went on to be pinned as a Captain in the United States Army. He enjoyed a long career at Allis-Chalmers and Lennox Industries as a sales representative. He was a dedicated and loving father of two children, Stacy and Chad. John loved watching his children and grandchildren in various sporting events. Throughout John’s life he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.
John joins his parents, Wilbur and Reba, and grandson Kyle, in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Sharon, sisters Sara Boyer and Kristine (Carl) Jarosz, sons Stacy (Mechele) and Chad (Lori), grandchildren Cody (Hanna), Jacob (Katelynn), Troy (Maranda), Rachael, Shane, Trace, Elyssa, Lauren and great-grandchildren Nolen, Vivian, and Paisleigh.
The family invites you to a celebration of life service held in his honor at Blue Springs Christian Church located at 7920 South 7 Hwy., Blue Springs, Missouri on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Visitation will be at 10AM and with the service to follow at 11AM.
