The following closings have been announced for the New Year’s holiday.
- Columbus City Hall and city offices will be closed today and Monday.
- The Columbus City Utilities office will be closed today and Monday for New Year’s. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday at 7 a.m. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- The city’s Public Works office will be closed today and Monday, reopening on Tuesday at 7 a.m. There will be no collections on Monday, with all collections on a one-day delay, with the Friday collections being Jan. 6.
- Bartholomew County offices and the courthouse will be closed today and Monday.
- The Bartholomew County Landfill is closed on Monday.
- The Republic offices will be closed Monday to allow its employees to enjoy the holiday with their families.
