Eastern Bartholomew Water Co. has issued a boil water advisory for customers in the Lowell Addition neighborhood due to a fiber optic utility company hitting a water main.
Water service has been disrupted and Eastern Bartholomew officials aid they are working to restore service. Once service is restored, the Lowell Addition customers will be under the boil water advisory until 4 p.m. Thursday. Any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least five minutes and then cooled before using.
