Bartholomew County

Free Bartholomew County Legal Aid Phone Clinic — Noon to 5:30 p.m. Individuals calling can expect to receive a brief phone consultation. Individuals seeking legal consultation must register by calling Legal Aid at 812-378-0358 between noon and 2 p.m. A volunteer attorney will return calls to registered individuals between 3 and 5:30 p.m.

Teen Volunteer Day — 1 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Available volunteer tasks include making seed packets for Cleo’s Seed Share, making decorations for the Teen Area, dusting, and sitting down with librarians to brainstorm ideas for future teen programs. Make sure you bring any papers that need to be signed for your school with you.

Bartholomew County Public Library Board — 4 to 5:30 p.m., Main Level meeting room, 536 Fifth St., Columbus.

Free Legal Aid Walk-in Clinic — 3 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. General Civil Advice Clinic from 3 to 4 p.m. and Eviction Legal Advice from 4 to 5 p.m.

Alzheimer’s Support Group — 4:30 to 6 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 3600 25th St., Columbus. Welcome all those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. It is not appropriate for dementia patients. Please enter the church through the Fellowship Hall entrance at the east end of the parking lot.

NAMI Family-to-Family — 6 to 8:30 p.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. A free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. Adult Game Night — 6 to 8 p.m., Columbus Bar, 322 Fourth St., Columbus. Dakota will bring a selection of games for attendees to choose from. Bringing your own game is encouraged. We will meet in the dining side of the Columbus Bar. Registration is encouraged.
