Duncan fires 65, moves into tie for 28th

La QUINTA, Calif. — Tyler Duncan birdied eight of the final 10 holes Saturday and fired a 7-under-par 65 on the Nicklaus Tournament Course to move into a tie for 28th place in The American Express.

The Columbus North graduate had shot 67 and 69 the first two days on the Pete Dye Stadium Course and La Quinta Country Club. He sits at 15-under 201 going into today’s final round.

Nick Dunlap leads the tournament at 27-under 189. Sam Burns is three shots back at 24-under 192, and Justin Thomas is four back at 23-under 193.
