Thrive Alliance will hold virtual sessions in the coming months for their “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” series. The series is designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves by reducing stress, improving self-confidence, better communicating feelings and more. The program is for all caregivers, regardless of their situation.
Classes will consist of six sessions held virtually via Zoom every Wednesday from Feb. 21 to March 27, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The classes will include interactive lessons, discussions and brainstorming.
Those who attend the class will receive “The Caregiver Helpbook,” which was developed specifically for the series.
The program is free to attend, but registration is required. The deadline to register is Feb. 14.
To register, call Alison Simo, Wellness Education Coordinator at 812-418-6690 or email asimo@thrive-alliance.org.
Participants must have Zoom set up and internet access. Thrive Alliance will work to ensure that participants have Zoom set up before the first class session.
