FRANKLIN — Class 4A No. 7 Jennings County extended its school record for most wins in a girls basketball season by closing the regular season with a 51-44 win at 4A No. 6 Franklin on Thursday.
The Panthers (21-3) trailed 24-22 at halftime before taking control in the third quarter.
Juliann Woodard led Jennings with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Alivia Elmore scored 12 points, and Mollie Ernstes added nine points.
