CRH welcomes community to its NexusPark location during open house

Columbus Regional Health celebrated its grand opening of the hospital system’s portion of the NexusPartk campus on Wednesday.

The event was an open house, which began with a Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at 11:30 a.m., featuring CRH and chamber representatives, along with city officials who have partnered with CRH on the NexusPark project.

CRH at NexusPark is the culmination of more than five years of visioning, partnership, research, planning, and design to result in an inventive approach to outpatient healthcare delivery. CRH is relocating and converging 14 practices and support services into our 125,000 square-feet portion of the refurbished former shopping mall at more than $54 million in investment.

NexusPark is the product of collaboration with a focus on community health and wellbeing unlike anything the region has yet experienced. The result of NexusPark started with a community partnership among the City of Columbus, Columbus Parks and Recreation, and Columbus Regional Health, with the support of Heritage Fund: The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County. The work served to create a dynamic community asset that would comprise of a broad range of health, wellbeing, and recreational services and experiences, as well as community space, retail and dining.
