The National Weather Service will have Storm Spotter Training at 6 p.m. March 6 at The Learning Center auditorium, 4555 Central Ave.
This is a free training session and no pre-registration is required.
The National Weather Service relies on trained volunteers to supplement radar information during a severe storm or tornado event. The program will provide information about severe thunderstorm develo0pment and identification of features as well as safety tips.
