Looking Back – Feb. 7

Judy Priddy as the Tooth Fairy and companion Tommy Tooth, played by Janet Smith, visit the pediatrics ward of the Bartholomew County Hospital on Feb. 7, 1974, as part of a county health program during National Dental Health Week.

2014

In partnership with Cummins Inc., Nissan Motor Co. unveiled a concept pickup that was powered by a 2.8-liter Cummins diesel engine. The truck was displayed at the Chicago Auto Show with a transparent acrylic hood to let spectators see the engine.

1999

Bob Relberg, an artist visiting from Indianapolis, held a workshop at Lincoln Elementary School where fifth-graders made clay animal flutes. The workshop was presented by Young Audiences, a nonprofit arts education organization that brought live performances of music, dance and theater to schools throughout Indiana.

1974

The Northside Junior High String Group presented four musical numbers during a Psi Iota Xi sorority meeting at the Bartholomew County Library. Several of the students took music lessons at the Pro Musica House using practice pianos donated by Psi Iota Xi.
