Duncan even through 7 when darkness delays first round

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Tyler Duncan is even-par through seven holes of the Waste Management Phoenix Open after play was delayed by rain, then suspended because of darkness Thursday.

The Columbus North graduate is tied for 48th after posting one bogey and one birdie at TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course.

Sahith Theegala, who completed all 18 holes, leads the tournament at 6-under 65. Andrew Novak is 5-under through nine holes.
