Bull Dogs take second in conference; Euler wins all-around

BLOOMINGTON — Reese Euler won the all-around competition, and Columbus North finished second in Monday’s Conference Indiana gymnastics meet.

The Bull Dogs scored a 102.25 team total. Bloomington North won with a 107.475.

Euler won the vault (9.4), bars (9.5) and beam (9.5) and finished fourth on the floor (9.15) to post a season-best 37.55 in the all-around.

North’s Ellie McIntier placed sixth on the vault (8.7), and Emerson Chambers took sixth on the bars (8.15) Laney Acton was seventh on the floor (9.0).

Hannah Perry, the Bull Dogs’ normal No. 2 gymnast, injured her elbow while scoring an 8.2 on the vault. She came back with a 7.5 on the bars, but was pulled from the final two events to not further aggravate the injury.
