COLUMBUS
Craig E. Matlock, 56, of Columbus passed away unexpectedly at 7:18 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, from sudden cardiac arrest.
Mr. Matlock was born September 23, 1967, in Columbus, the son of Rex. E. and Barbara S. Grimes Matlock.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara S. Matlock of Columbus; sisters, Teresa (Jon) Damaska of Holland, Michigan and Melissa (Scott) Ewen of Brown County; four nephews; three nieces; three great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Matlock October 18, 2023.
A private family service will be held at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. David Marvin officiating.
He will be laid to rest next to his father at New Bellsville Cemetery.
