Norma Jean Gant, 94, of Lawrenceville, GA. passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023. She was born in Logan County, Ohio to James Abraham Henry and Dessie Gertrude Burden. Norma Jean spent her life dedicated to her faith, family and community. A devout Christian, Norma Jean found great joy in her involvement with her Church of Christ family. She was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ in Columbus, Indiana. She cherished the time spent in Christian studies and attending church services until her final days. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. It guided her through both joyous and challenging times. She was preceded in death 38 years earlier by her beloved husband, Frederick Harley Gant. Norma Jean is survived by her devoted daughter Janice Dee Byram (M. Scott) of Flowery Branch, GA and her loving sons: Curtis Frederick Gant (Darlene) of Rancho Cordova, CA, Richard Duane Gant (Julie) of Temple Terrace, FL and Donald Ray Gant (Christine) of Dacula, GA. Norma Jean was preceded in death by her sisters: Frances Pearl Schrader, Audrey Lucille Roberts, Charlotte Louise Ellis and Janet Ester Cox, as well as her brothers: Lowell Edgar Henry, Olan Ralph Henry and Herbert W. Henry. She leaves 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
