SHELBY COUNTY — The Shelby County Sheriff Department is investigating a single vehicle fatal accident that happened at about 6:37 a.m. Tuesday at the 121 mile marker of I-74 in the westbound lanes.
The driver was transported to Eskenazi hospital. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Maj. Chris Holder said no further information is available at this time and the accident remains under investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Shelby County Coroners office, Holder said.
