VALLARTA, Mexico — Tyler Duncan carded a 5-over-par 76 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 125th place in the Mexico Open.
Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate opened with a 2-over 38 before shooting 3-over 38 on the front at Vidanta Vallarta.
Erik van Rooyen leads the tournament at 8-under 63. Sami Valimaki is one shot back at 7-under 64.
