Bartholomew County

Welding Workshop — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Attendees will learn the basics, tour Propeller’s metal shop for overview on welding safety and importance of PPE, and get hands-on experience with welding equipment under the guidance of experienced instructor. Attendees will receive two hours of welding time. We will have stations set up for MIG and flux core welding. Cost is $75 per person.

Teen Pizza Party Society: Black History Month — 3 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Discuss your favorite Black books, music, TV, and movies in this book club-style meeting of the Pizza Party Society. Pizza will be provided.

Atrium Dedication — 3 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us to celebrate the library’s growth over the years and hold a dedication ceremony of the atrium space to library director Steve Suckow. Share in hors o’dourves, learn more about the expansion of the building and hear from several community members.
