Sandra “Sandy” Temple

INDIANAPOLIS

“Sandra “Sandy” Temple, a cherished resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on August 19, 1941, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Sandy’s life was marked by compassion, dedication, and a love for education.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Hanna (Webster) Stewart, Brother, Gary Stewart. She leaves behind a legacy of family and cherished memories. Her surviving family members include: Sons: Mark (Sue) Temple, Todd (Cindy) Temple; Daughters: Joy (Dwight) Rogers, Monica Temple.

Sandy’s journey took her from Canada, France and then to America, where she pursued her passion for teaching and later became a realtor. Her commitment to education touched the lives of countless students, and her impact will be remembered for generations to come.

As a devoted mother, Sandy loved her children deeply. Her unwavering support and nurturing spirit enriched their lives in immeasurable ways.

Sandy was an active member of Grace Assembly Church in Greenwood, Indiana, where her faith and community involvement were steadfast.

In her honor, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with kindness, wisdom, and the joy of learning. Sandy’s memory will be cherished by her Children, two Nephews, eight Grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild.

There will be a memorial service for Sandy Temple at 4:00pm on Friday March 15 at Flanner Buchanan 5463 Kentucky Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46221. For those who are interested there will be a Celebration of her life from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Library Restaurant and Pub at 2610 S Lynhurst Dr, Indianapolis, IN.
